ABOUT THE TEACHER:
I believe that each child I teach comes from a unique background and heritage that must be consistently held in high regard. The touchstone of this consistency is grounded in respect. Respect is the belief that each child is of infinite value and is destined for success. Who they are, as well as who they are becoming, is to be fully acknowledged. This is what I intend to do as a teacher to hold each child’s diversity in high regard and with respect. I strongly believe that when children achieve their goals and experience their capability, they become excited to help other people to do so in turn. Thus, it is my responsibility to give to my students with my whole heart and to encourage them to do the same to others. Finally, I believe the parents whose children I teach are a team and every team needs support, communication understanding and compassion to be successful.
